Kamm Distinguished Graduate Fellowship and Kamm Scholarship
The Kamm Distinguished Graduate Fellowship is a highly competitive and esteemed award granted annually to PhD students in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program. Fellows receive funding applicable to tuition or dissertation expenses (i.e., transcription services, travel, etc.) and join a community of OSU alumni and advanced PhD students who actively contribute to the program through strategic input, curriculum development, and mentorship.
The HESA Faculty awards the Kamm Scholarship to an advanced doctoral student in recognition of scholarly achievement and to provide financial assistance for dissertation-related expenses. This award is equally competitive and valuable, with recipients encouraged to remain engaged with the program community.
The application and award cycle for all HESA scholarships, including the Kamm Distinguished Graduate Fellowship and Kamm Scholarship, occurs in the spring of each academic year, for the following academic year. Each awards cycle is chaired by a HESA faculty member, with all HESA faculty eligible for participation in the decision-making process.
